I probably should have paid Carmel for the pleasure of quilting this quilt. I caressed the soft, soft fabrics repeatedly! 
The navy background fabric was almost as sumptuous as the Liberty of London fabric! Carmel chose green thread for the navy background. And we chose leaves to go with all the printed flowers. Very striking!
